Bethesda-Khankho Foundation

Bethesda Som-In is a Home / Residential Centre for orphans and destitute children for leadership development. We provide food, shelter, clothing, and integral education. We preferred the term 'Som-In' to traditional terms such as 'Orphanage' or 'Children's Home' because, it refers to the traditional learning centre of the local people which was holistic in nature.

The home was inaugurated and first occupied in May 2010. A new Home was constructed in 2013, providing separate rooms for boys and girls and a separate dining room. Currently, we are using our home to its maximum capacity and it has been such a joy to see young persons growing in a safe environment.
