While more and more people observed Khankho Day each year, tor the first time in the history, Khankho Day was observed on the 7th of March 2019 in Glasgow, the United Kingdom. Some cleared a church patio and swept it clean, broad bean seeds were planted in the community garden, others fed birds, planted seeds in their garden, tidied up a hanging flower box and visited a friend in a nursing home. Those who participated enjoyed learning about the meaning of Khankho and putting it into practice.
