Bethesda Khankho International

Bethesda Khankho International was formed mainly to support Bethesda Khankho Foundation.


It is registered as a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) with OSCR in Scotland. Registered Charity No. SC043726. BKI is also a member of Scotland’s International Development Alliance.


The main activities of the Trust includes promoting the vision of BKF by sharing the news of the organization with friends and partners.

Trustees

Christopher

Christopher met Lamboi during his PhD studies in Glasgow and has been involved in BKI since its inception. He is a Community Pastor at Bristo Baptist Church in Central Edinburgh. He has a background in Social Work, particularly working with Adults with Additional Support Needs, including the development of a Supported Employment Charity.

Helen

Helen met Lamboi and Boinu when they were living in Glasgow and has been a trustee since BKI was established in 2013. She is a retired Deacon of the Church of Scotland who was employed for 32 years in parishes in the West of Scotland. Her work in the community has included serving as a trustee for a rent deposit scheme and supporting people seeking asylum.

Kay

Kay first met Lamboi while studying at International Christian College in Glasgow. She works as a physiotherapist in NHS Scotland and is trustee and secretary of her local Baptist Church. She also has previous experience of being trustee in a charity supporting work among street children in Tanzania.

Jonnie

Jonnie joined the trustees of BKI in mid-2019 as Treasurer. He is a Certified Global Management Accountant working in the financial services industry in Glasgow, Scotland. He is a member of the Tron church, Glasgow, that has a strong emphasis on community services.
